A man who believes in upskilling oneself, Dr. Elilen Chandra is the Chief Executive Officer and corporate trainer of Elnet Talent Solutions. He is responsible for teaching graduates and working adults the importance of developing communication and workplace skills to better their chances in the job market and to improve their performance at their workplace.
“Though refuted, there is a growing concern of unemployment in Johor. Employers are generally blaming this on the lackadaisical attitude, lack of skills and knowledge among fresh graduates as one of the primary reasons,” said Dr. Elilen.
Dr. Elilen Chandra received recognition from IMSHA for Education Advancement in 2014 for his contributions to the state government’s Johor Talent Development Programme where he had trained a hundred participants from several agencies.
“By training them to meet the expectations of the job market, we can help them be high-quality candidates for any position they apply,” he added.
