For most of his life, music has fuelled much of Mohd Fuzi’s time and passion. For more than 30 years, he has been a musician and an accomplished violin teacher. When a chance opportunity with Warisan Johor appeared, he grabbed it. Thus began his stint of conducting music classes at JOTIC on weekends for children and youths of Johor Bahru.
“Music is for everyone, young or old. It’s something we share with others. I want children to experience and learn to appreciate this fine craft as it helps our community grow culturally,” said Fuzi.
He understands the love of music and also the financial limitations parents may have to pay for lessons. But that does not stop him from teaching many who are unable to afford music classes. He does so for the love of music and because he believes music is a healthy and enriching activity for all.
